Prof. Ghada earned her PhD in Artificial Intelligence from De Montfort University in 2006 and began her academic career as a Lecturer in the same university until 2008. Ghada founded the Software Engineering Department at Amman Alahliya University, serving as the Head of the department until 2010. From 2010 to 2023, Prof. Ghada served as Director of Postgraduate Studies at the Department of Information Technology; College of Computer & Information Sciences/ King Saud University. Since April 2023, she has been leading the Gean AI Hub and Smart Solutions as a managing Director to lead expert development team in AI cutting edge technologies. Her research interests include generative AI to application level development, multimedia compression and encryption using biometrics and blockchain, drones and swarming robots, remote command and control for robotic emergent behavior, which she explores as part of her work on the next evolution of telepresence. Additionally, Prof. Ghada has served as the Conference Technical Committee Chair for many conferences across the world.
